In nuclear chemistry, nuclear fusion is a reaction in which two or more atomic nuclei are combined to form one or more different atomic nuclei and subatomic particles. The difference in mass between the reactants and products is manifested as either the release or absorption of energy.
The Bible states about the nuclear fusion of the sun and stars they explode light on earth this explosion of sun and stars of light is called nuclear fusion.
In the process some of the mass of the hydrogen atoms is converted into energy in the form of light. The same process occurs in thermonuclear (fusion) bombs. In the Sun the process occurs in a controled manner. In a bomb it happens all at once in a big chain-reaction explosion.

An important fusion process is the stellar nucleosynthesis that powers stars and the Sun. In the 20th century, it was recognized that the energy released from nuclear fusion reactions accounted for the longevity of stellar heat and light. The fusion of nuclei in a star, starting from its initial hydrogen and helium abundance, provides that energy and synthesizes new nuclei as a byproduct of the fusion process. Different reaction chains are involved, depending on the mass of the star (and therefore the pressure and temperature in its core).
